Challenge

Performance supplements is one of the most crowded shelves in CPG. Flashy claims, "explosive energy" everywhere you look, dark packaging trying to signal elite status — and most of it looks and sounds identical. In a category built on noise, the real differentiator is almost always the brand, not the formula.

Hypervant had both. A genuinely clean, stimulant-free performance stack powered by their proprietary BioAscend™ delivery system, formulated for the people who truly need energy — fighters, tactical professionals, endurance athletes. The product was serious. The mission was clear. But a great product without the right infrastructure is just a great product nobody knows about.

They came to Brand Winners with three big needs that all had to land at the same time:

  1. A high-conversion Shopify DTC website built from the ground up (they had already paid someone to build their first website, which they weren't happy with)

  2. Packaging design for a brand-new SKU called IGNITE — a mouth pouch format with an energy and focus blend, new to the lineup entirely

  3. A wholesale pitch deck that could walk Hypervant into a retail buyer meeting and make a real impression

Approach

We started where we always do — by getting honest about who we were actually talking to. Hypervant's customer isn't an impulse buyer. They've done the research. They know what they're putting in their body, and they're skeptical of anything that overpromises. This isn't a category where you win by being louder than everyone else.

The supplement industry has a look. And the fastest way to get lost in it is to try to fit in.

The Shopify site needed to earn trust first, then earn the sale. We built an architecture that moves the customer naturally through the story — what Hypervant is, what makes the formulas different, and why it matters for their specific goals. Copy was written for a buyer who does their homework. Creative assets were created to feel premium without feeling out of reach. The whole thing was designed to convert because it respects the buyer's intelligence, not because it pressures them. The client had already paid an agency to build their website once, and they weren't happy with the results. This means that we had zero margin for error— this site needed to be proper.

For IGNITE, we were designing packaging for a product that didn't exist in physical form yet. That meant the work needed to do two things at once: build internal excitement and stakeholder confidence through mockups that made the product feel real, and deliver print-ready label dielines that the manufacturer could pick up and run to print with.

The wholesale deck was where the full brand story came together on paper. This is where retail relationships either start or stall. Buyers see hundreds of pitche decks. What makes a brand stick isn't just the margins — it's whether they can quickly understand who you're for, why you win in the category, and why it's worth betting shelf space on you. We wrote the story, built the assets, and designed a deck that answered those questions before the buyer had to ask.

Outcome

Three deliverables. All built from scratch.

The Shopify DTC site launched as Hypervant's primary revenue engine — purpose-built for conversion, written for their specific customer, and designed to look as serious as the product it was selling. This resulted in decreased CPA as Hypervant turned on their influencer engines and ad-spend.

For IGNITE, we delivered packaging that looked retail-ready before the first can was filled — mockups that brought the SKU to life for the team, stakeholders, and social media followers. The production-ready dielines were handed straight to the print shop with nothing left to figure out.

The wholesale deck gave Hypervant something a lot of early-stage brands don't have going into retail conversations: credibility on paper. A polished, story-driven pitch that communicates the brand's positioning, their customer, and their product lineup with the kind of confidence that makes buyers lean in.

Hypervant went into market with a website that sells, a new SKU ready for shelf, and a wholesale program ready to pitch. That's not a small thing — it was a big lift. Lots of strategy and creativity went into this project, and we couldn't be more proud of the outcome.
